POV – Who doesn’t need an astrologer?
Well, if you are here reading this blog, you probably need one. 😊 But this is a very good question. There are many who wouldn’t need us.
Children up to twelve years of age shouldn’t be consulted with an astrologer per our Vedic rule; we see the mother’s horoscope until that threshold happens.
The person who is blessed by a Sadh Guru doesn’t need an astrologer. A sadh guru knows the past, present, and future of his disciple and guides accordingly. Getting a Sadh Guru in life is immensely powerful and takes many years of Punya. A strong 9th house/lord and usually a connection of Jupiter on the chart drive this.
People with strong yogic capabilities, like Karma yogis, Raj yogis, Bhakti yogis etc., don’t need an astrologer either. The practice of yoga takes care of life’s insecurities and brings necessary knowledge to live a healthy life. A strong 8th house connection with a powerful Mars, Ketu, and Saturn’s involvement drives this, and they experience life with a different perspective.
Non-believers of the life & death cycle in Hinduism shouldn’t visit an astrologer. Our key principles are founded on this concept. Otherwise, these people sometimes spread superstitions in society without realizing the true meaning of this holy subject. They are somehow impacted by Rahu’s disillusion. This is a topic for another day!
Astrologically, people having a strong 8th house tend to incline towards secret, occult experiences and intuitions. But this needs to be complemented by a supporting 9th house developing philosophical understanding and spiritual tendency.
In short, if you don’t feel an inner call to consult, don’t do it. Your family has one; Maa knows a magician, etc. Nope, it’s not time for you yet. It’s very important to identify that inner call in life before you contact an astrologer. Until then, you are fine not consulting an astrologer!
